Did Somebody Say CBD Popsicles?!

Lately, we’ve been feeling like the end of every week is the end of another heat wave. You too?! On every single one of these muggy days, we find ourselves reaching for a sweet treat to cool us down, and of course, relieve a little stress. After all, Covid times ain’t easy; treats are well-deserved these days. However, on the days we give in to a sugary pop, or scoop of ice cream, we find that we’re almost always later met with an unimpressed tummy. Especially in this heat. What’s a gal to do in this sweltering heat?!

A simple solution to cool you down, and zen you right out sans tummy troubles? CBD popsicles. It’s our favourite sweet treat–but with health benefits. And an added pinch of zen. They truly are a pop of spa, if you will.

Concerned about the taste of CBD, you say? The three drops in this recipe shouldn’t affect the taste of your popsicles, at all. So go ahead, and enjoy ‘em at the next sight of sunshine. 


Lemon Cucumber Coconut [CBD] Popsicles

Serves 6
Prep time: 10 minutes | Total time: 4 to 5 hours

  • 1/2 cucumber – skin on 
  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 cup (250ml) coconut water
  • 3 full drops of CBD drops (3 mL total) CBD Tincture – B+F daytime drops
  • Popsicle mold
  • Shaker

*Optional: 1 tablespoon agave nectar honey or equivalent favourite sweetener



  1. Cut cucumber slices to fit your popsicle mold. This might require width-wise slices to be chopped in half. Place in bottom of shaker. 
  2. Zest lemon into your shaker. 
  3. Squeeze lemon juice into shaker. 
  4. Pour coconut water into shaker. 
  5. Drop 3 drops of B+F Daytime CBD Tincture into shaker.
  6. Shake + muddle mixture, forcing juice out of cucumber slices. 
  7. Divide the mixture among popsicle molds (each mold should be 2/3 full to allow for expansion when freezing).
  8. Freeze for 4-5 hours, until they’re solid.
  9. Take the pops out of the freezer–enjoy!

Pull out of the freezer after a long, hot day. We promise just a few licks will bring you back to your happy place, despite the beads of sweat rolling down your back.
