Serena Williams and Bianca Andreescu Just Schooled Us On Sportsmanship

There is seriously nothing more powerful than strong women supporting strong women. When Serena Williams withdrew from the Rogers Cup Final due to a back injury, supportive women everywhere shed tears of agony in solidarity with the world record holding tennis champion.

Rather than jumping for joy over some serious competition being eliminated from the match, tennis star Bianca Andreescu gave us all a masterclass in girls supporting girls, no matter the stakes.

Andreescu wrapped her arms around Williams and shared in what Williams called “the best moment” of her tragic day, recalling that she was “really sad” and Andreescu made her “feel a lot better”. Freaking AWWWWW.

When women come together to celebrate each other’s wins and support each other’s hard times we are reminded of how we can truly overcome any obstacles that come our way. At the Roger’s Cup, Williams and Andreescu showed us all what sportsmanship looks like and reset the bar for decorum and class.

Hopefully Serena Williams won’t be out for too long, and if you’re reading this then come to Canada and get some CBD Oil for that back injury! We can’t wait to watch you shine on the court again and we know Andreescu agrees.

Injury free with CBD.

Don’t Miss.
